The cannabis and hemp testing laboratory received $22.6m from CanLab that will fund an expansion in its operations and the strengthening of its technology.

Cannabis and hemp testing service CanLab has invested $22.6m in accredited and licensed US-based cannabis testing laboratory operator Cannalysis.

Founded in 2015, Cannalysis runs a lab in California that tests hemp and cannabis in order to support regulatory compliance or ensure quality in cannabinoid consumer products.

The company will use the CanLab funding to expand into new states while doubling the size of its headquarters and improving its data-focused automation and robotics technology.
