Bright Capital Digital invests $3.5m in Russian based Fotoshkola.net, an online training resource for amateur photographers.
Bright Capital, the international venture investment arm of Russian billionaire Mikhail Abyzov, has invested $3.5m, via its Bright Capital Digital fund, in a Russian-based online photography school for photography art.
The main project is Fotoshkola.net, the largest RuNet online photography school and a training site for photography. The new funds will be used to create an English version of the website to enter new markets.
Currently the project has more than 20,000 paid and 250,000 free subscribers.
