On-demand car rental service Skurt has raised $10m in series A funding from investors including BMW as it prepares to expand in the US.

Automotive manufacturer BMW has invested in US-based on-demand car rental service Skurt as part of a $10m series A round led by venture capital firm Upfront Ventures.

The round also featured venture capital firms Cross Culture Ventures, Expansion VC and Greycroft as well as retired basketball player Magic Johnson.
