Remote collaboration tool developer Cloud9 has added series B funding to the $5.6m raised from an Atlassian-backed round in 2011.
Cloud9, the US-based developer of a remote collaboration system for web and mobile developers, has raised an undisclosed amount of series B funding from venture capital firm Balderton Capital.
The funding follows a $5.55m series A round raised in 2011 from software producer Atlassian and VC firm Atlas Venture.
Cloud9 CEO Ruben Daniel said the recently released third iteration of the company’s cloud-based integrated development environment (IDE) is the first that can match desktop IDEs for performance.
