L’Oréal’s Muriel Atias has been promoted to chief investment officer of its newly created venturing unit, Bold.
Muriel Atias, formerly project director of M&A corporate finance for France-based cosmetics producer L’Oréal, has joined its corporate venturing unit, Business Opportunities for L’Oréal Development (Bold), which was established last month.
Bold hired Atias as a chief investment officer, and will take minority stakes in companies developing marketing, research and development, retail and supply chain-focused technologies.
