'Ananth' Ananthasubramaniam has departed from energy company DTE's corporate venturing subsidiary to launch AerLinX, a startup still operating in stealth.

‘Ananth’ G Ananthasubramaniam has stepped down as vice president of DTE Energy Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of US-based utility DTE Energy, to launch a stealth startup called AerLinx.

Ananthasubramaniam departed after joining the firm in 1995. While at DTE Energy Ventures, he led the unit’s alternative energy investments. During his tenure, the unit invested over $100m in areas of clean energy including fuel cells, waste-to-energy, and energy monitoring and efficiency.
