Ambiq Micro, a provider of ultra-low power integrated circuits for power-sensitive applications, raised $15m in an ARM-backed round that lifted its total funding to $35m.

US-based electronic components producer Amibq Micro secured $15m in a series C round on Monday featuring semiconductor and software producer ARM Holdings.

Venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers led the round, which also included Austin Ventures and Mercury Fund. 

Founded in 2010, Ambiq is a provider of ultra-low power integrated circuits. The capital will accelerate the development and marketing of its SPOT (Subthreshold Power Optimized Technology) platform.
