Mobile data network service Aicent has been acquired for $290m, providing an exit for Qualcomm Ventures.

Aicent, a US-based provider of data network services for mobile operators, has been acquired by telecommunications technology company Syniverse for approximately $290m, providing an exit for wireless technology producer Qualcomm.

Aicent provides data networks, messaging and roaming solutions for telecom network operators and claims to work with the 10 largest mobile companies in the world.
