The UAE-based venture firm will help consulting group Accenture explore the innovation ecosystem in the Middle East, the two having already joined forces for edtech and fintech research initiatives.

Ireland-headquartered professional services provider Accenture has partnered United Arab Emirates-based venture capital firm Global Ventures to identify open innovation opportunities in the Middle East.

The strategic alliance will entail the firms sharing industry expertise in areas including cloud and security technologies, having both already conducted joint research efforts on education and financial technologies.

In addition, Accenture will provide its global connections and know-how to Global Ventures’ portfolio companies, which will offer their innovative technologies to the corporate’s customers in return.
