Germany-based mobile application (app) developer 6Wunderkinder secured $4.2m in funding on Wednesday last week from Atomico, the venture capital firm set up by Kazaa and Skype co-founder Niklas Zennstrӧm.
6Wunderkinder secured €500,000 ($665,000) of seed funding in December last year from corporate-backed venture capital firm High Tech Gründerfonds. This was followed by a further, undisclosed investment from telecommunications corporation Deutsche Telekom’s corporate venturing unit, T-Venture, in June of this year.
